talent and hobby

19 & 20

i think it is a talent of mine to be able to sleep more than most people. i'm pretty good at it. really though, when someone says the word 'talent' you think of things like sports and singing and stuff like that. i dont really have those talents but i think my ability with kids is a talent. i was thinking about it a couple weeks ago and there are some people that would not be able to last one day working at a daycare. but i love it. ok well... there are some parts i dont love. but i love playing , talking, teaching, and just interacting with children. i went back to my work yesterday after being gone for 3 months and i was so happy to see my little friends :) some have them have grown SO much in just 3 months! there is nothing like walking into there and having the kids say "ms. courtney!!!!" and just be happy to see me. it makes my day.

hobby-- i used to love to sew and i would do it more often if i didnt have to set up and take down the sewing machine every time. AND if the sewing machines we had wouldnt keep getting messed up. ugh. anywaaay. i've also started to LOVE volleyball again. theres nothing like a GOOD game of volleyball.

remember this?? i am still determined to finish it! although 30 days is turning into 130. i am on 'day' 18 soi i get to write about whatever i want. sometimes i dont blog for so long because there is something important i need to write about, and i feel like i cant write anything else until i do that, but i just dont have time.

im at byu-idaho right now (with less than two weeks left in the term). i went home to visit for memorial day weekend. tyler purposed at alki beach with a gorgous diamond. (seriously, beautiful) i actually felt the ring box in his coat pocket before he asked me. it was funny.

we do not have a date yet. every day that goes by i get more and more excited though!

i wish i could have found a bigger one. i am not usually a huge fan of art, but i have always loved this painting. and i cant even tell you why. i just think its so pretty

im skipping fanfic. i actually tried to find one but i couldnt find any that were 1- remotely interesting or 2. short enough to bother reading.

i know im waaaaay behind. but im a busy girl. im at school in idaho now. i will finish this 30 blog thing.

so.... school... its great. i dont really have anything i want to write about. so ill write 13 too.

fiction book. why is it asking me this. i already wrote about my favorite books. uggggh.

im really not supposed to put pictures of my kids from work on the internet. if i could, i would post soooooo many pictures cuz i love my kids and i have so many cute pictures. that being said, im going to post this one because i know this childs mom from high school and i know she doesnt mind, also, all you can see is the back of her.
