110 degrees

apparently the heat in seattle has made world news. wednesday was hooorrrrible. i got really sick yesterday at work
heat exhaustion symptoms:
•heavy sweating-check
•paleness-check
•muscle cramps-no
•tiredness-check
•weakness-check
•dizziness-check
•headache-check
•nausea or vomiting-check
•fainting-no

so i took the day off today. i think at least 4 other teachers at my center called in today too, so im curious to see how they survived today.

everyone is happy that today isnt that hot. "WHEW, it's only in the 80s!"..... ummm hello, guys, 80s in seattle is supposed to be considered hot.

remember 4 months ago when it was snowing and you all wanted it to stop? i wanted the snow to keep coming. i blame you.

my classes are killin me this quarter

kendall's and kyle's (kendall's reception, and kyle's reception, not kyle+kendall's) washington receptions are one the same night. but im going to kyle's utah reception, and hopefully kendall's oregon reception... so we'll see what happens i guess.

im kind of getting stressed about what i'm gonna do when i'm in utah. where am i gonna stay? it's gonna be hard to get around. i want to be able to be at all kyle's wedding events and see kelci and jenson and my nephews. but i won't have a car and no one really lives close the the temple or brittany (kyles fiance's) house. and i dont want to make people drive me around the whole weekend. i'm starting to get worried.

why is it soooooo hoooooot. i hate not having air conditioning at work. my classroom is the hottest one too.

it's been a year

well, its been about a year since i tried the guitar. it seems about every year i get excited and try to learn. then i get frustrated because my fingers wont reach and i give up. it really is frustrating. how much are those kids guitars at walmart?? i bet my hands would fit around that.

but i actually can recognize part of a song for the first time in my life. (a very short, easy, part, but im still excited!!) maybe this will motivate me a little more to keep at it.
