it's blizzarding

we've had snow for the past week. LOVE IT. my work has been closing early, and there have been alot less kids. thursday i had 7 kids (that was 3 classes combined) for like an hour, then only 3 kids the rest of the day. AND my boss gave me 2 free hours of pay just for coming in (i was one of 5 teachers to come in, my boss was not one of those 5) friday we closed our center, which is never supposed to happen unless the power goes out. (again, love my management) my favorite favorite thing about the snow is just how pretty it is!!! most of my friends have been complaining about being "snowed in" this week but today was really the only day i didnt leave the house. its very intense out there now! and i was supposed to go to kyles, who just got back in town :( he said he might come over tonight when his momma gets home with the jeep, but i kinda doubt thats gonna happen. AND i was kind of exctied for church tomorrow too but i dont see that happening either. but i still love the snow.

i had cosmetic surgery today. for free! at work! by a one year old! she just ripped that mole right off....






i picked her up and kind of held her above my head. she put her feet above my chest/below my neck and riiip. there goes my mole! moles bleed a lot when they come off. i had to go get another teacher to come in for a minute.

and thanks darci for helping me with my bandage change at volleyball. haha.


i hated that mole, i hope it doesnt come back.

oooh i love my kids at work. i have a burn on my wrist/arm from the oven. it hurts. whenever i get an 'owie' my kids feel like they need to poke it. they dont seem to understand that it HURTS when they poke and TOUCH MY OWIE. but then they will kiss it better when i say ow. and i laugh. they are cute. we have a new boy that is allergic to wheat, dairy, and soy. yikes! that is EVERYTHING! i reeeeeeally hope none of my children have allergies like that

my love/hate relationship with accutane

HATE: the crazy side effects- dry skin, chapped lips, "allergic" to sun, extreme heat, and cold. thinning eyebrows(i breakout in an ugly rash type thing)... my monthly routine (more about that later) brittle breaking nails, dry skin and chapped lips (that deserves to be listed twice. most people are on accutane for 5-6 months. i've been on it for 11 1/2 months. WOWWWW. i want to be done





LOVE: lack of acne.... nuff said ya'll. i've fought with it since like 7th grade and this actually works!! i actually go to work without makeup every day. and i wouldnt be way embarassed if my friends or a cute guy sees be w/o makeup. even if i had to take this pill forever i would (until i was ready to have a baby) and supposidly once i finally get off the accutane, my acne will be GOOOOONE and wont come back. ooh happy day






every month-
-drive to hospital to see dr pepper (thats my doctors name)
-pee in a cup (pregnancy test)
-sit in waiting room, then see dr for like 30 seconds
-go home and log on to the ipledge program
-enter my two forms of birth control (abstinence doesnt count)
-take the little quiz thing to make sure i know about the drug and whats going on i guess....
-take prescription to pharmacy
pick up within 7 days of seeing doctor

thats just every month, it's not hard. as long as i get my prescription in to the ppharmacy a day or 2 after i see the doctor. one time i forgot and didnt get it back on time. i had to make another appt with my doctor to get a new prescription. i could have gotten pregnant in those 7 days i guess!?

at the beginning of this whole thing, i had to read (skim) this big inromative book with chapters and everything. then i had to sign like 3 contracts saying i wont give blood or get pregnant. then i had to wait a month for my birth control pills to start working before i starting taking accutane. this drug is SERIOUS!!! hahaha. it sounds scary right?? but i wish i could have taken it a loooone time ago. like... before highschool.


it seems like the hate would over weigh the love..... but really it doesnt at all.

one time i went to work and worked 4 hours, then went to the bathroom and realized i had a 3 inch hole in my pants. at least i work with kids and they dont notice these things, and my apron covered it pretty well. it really wasnt terrible, just funny.

breaking dawn

i am by NO MEANS obsessed with the twilight series... i read the first book.... it was ok.... and that was that.

but my friend was reading breaking dawn before class today so i took it and read the last few pages. haha. it was surpising made me gasp out loud. haha. and it actually made me want to read the other books (kind of)




i did the same thing with harry potter. i havent read any of the books, but i've read the very end of the last book.... but that didnt make me want to read it

in my last blog i forgot to write about my MOST common, MOST annoying dream. in the morning my alarm will go off, so i will be half awake (actually, like... 2/10 awake) and i know i should be getting up and getting ready. so i dream that i'm getting ready. and so i think i'm ready to go! but then eventually i realize that i'm STILL in bed and NOT ready for school. and then i have to wake up and get ready in 5 minutes. one time in highschool i dreamed that i got ready early enough to get back in bed for a little bit before i left for school........ then my mom woke me up at like 10 or 11 30 asking me why i wasnt at school! i was still in my pajamas and had never actually moved from my bed. oooooops

sometimes when i am stressing about something, i dream about it, and solve the problem in my dream. mostly when it's something not big at all. but then it causes more problems. for example- last night i dreamt that i told my mom i needed her to pick me up today... i think. i honestly cannot remember if it was a dream or if we actually had this conversation. i had another dream just like this last night solving some little problem, i woke up and was releived to not have to worry about it. then half way through the day i realized that it was just a dream. i have a feeling that when i call my mom in a few minutes to come pick me up shes going to say "i thought you had a ride!!?" but i didnt tell her otherwise this morning because i'm pretty sure we already talked about it... or was that a dream?!??

i still remember waay a long time ago when i was reading a book.... i went through a whole day thinking i had finished the book. but then i couldnt remember how it had ended. so i went back and looked at it and realized i really hadnt finished it. i really had a dream JUST about me reading the book, finishing it, and putting the book down. i remember the dream too. that's all it was. no wonder i was confused.



i also have my crazy dreams to... anyone i tell my dreams to regularly knows my dreams are usually WEEIRD and RANDOM. last night i was at kendras (i think she's in my dreams like 2-3 times a week, dont know why) and someone broke into the house. and was holding us hostage until her friend came. when her "friend" came it was all my friends, and they were just playing a practical joke on me... for kendra's mom's birthday. then we watched hidden videos of us. and laughed about how much i freaked out. it was a very scary, intense dream. if someone ACTUALLY pulled that joke on me, i think i would take the gun and shoot them... not funny at all. but there was lots of other random stuff in there too about the cat, and scissors, and video editing, and gardening. you know... the sorts of stuff that makes NO sense at all.... so of course they are in my dream some where

guess i'll just have to keep being abstinent. that seems to work just fine.

although i AM supposed to use TWO forms of birth control to be on accutane. abstinence alone is not enough apparently. at least insurance pays for it right??

new kids on the block are baaaack. hahaha. today on kiss i heard "new song from new kids on the block" and i was like whaaaaat. its called summertime and it's kind of boring....(actually, the more i listen to it, the more i like it) but whatever. they are doing a tour and are going to be in seattle on novemeber 22. i think us sisters should go (and chris, if we can get him to go) if it doesnt cost like 100$ a ticket

haha at church i was tryin to paralles park i had to adjust where i was, so i moved forward a little, then put my car in reverse again, moved like an inch, and hit a guy walking behind me. hahaha. i barely tapped him. i was semi-embarassed, but it was more funny than anything. after sacrament meeting i went and found him (luckily his friend had red hair, so they were easier to find) and appologized. he actually was kind of cute, and he laughed it off. and now i am regretting not asking him his name. i probably wont remember what he looks like in two weeks (i'll be in rexburg next week)
i like going to singles ward (FINALLY) i was kind of nervous because there seems to be a number of weirdies in our singles ward. but everyone there is nice, and since it's summer there are tooooons of people. and i'm excited to go to rexburg. and i wish hamsters weren't nocturnal because sometimes they keep me up at night. i sleep with ear plugs now. the end

i am the proud new owner of a hamster :) my friends hamster had babies, and grandbabies, so i took one of the grandbabies. i actually took two but it was a girl and boy (named them buffy and angel) so my mom ... encouraged... me to give angel back. i think buffy is lonely and mad at me :( i hardly hold her cuz she is too quick. cinder, my cat, just sits and stares at the cage. she cant see it but she knows something is in there. i'm hoping she doesnt get brave and jump up on my dresser. she wont be able to hurt buffy but it'll sure scare her. i want her poor heart to be ok. lol. this picture makes her look bigger than she is. i cropped it so you didnt have to look at her poo. haha.

-i need to go to rexburg. i think i'll start packing tonight, even tho i dont have my tickets yet. the only reason i cant buy them yet, is cuz LINDSI wont call me back

-i got jaynee's wedding announcement today. they are cute. i wanna go to her wedding/reception/luncheon but its in san diego...
-i bought EVERYTHING you need to own a hamster, and more. then the next day at church this girl offered me all the same stuff cuz her hamster died.... i'm going to take it any way cuz her cage is bigger, and you can always use more food/bedding/ etc..... i mean, IF i end up getting that hamster (dang it scott...)
-my eyeballs hurt. i really should stop wearing my contacts to bed
-i need to make an appt with my eye doctor so i can get new glasses and more contacts

last day

monday is my last day at this horrible place they call a daycare. i'm gonna miss my kids sooooo much. i already miss them. but i have to get away from that place. there is so much highschool type drama there. except i dont think there was never that much drama in such a short time, in highschool. not for me at least. i need to find a new job before i spend all my money. this is not gonna be like last time i was "looking" for a job. i am now a shopaholic and i need a job to support this new addiction to clothes

one tree hill

so im pretty much addicted to one tree hill now.

i watched a litle bit on and off in the earlier seasons but never really got THAT into it untill this season cuz i liked how its way later...

so i borrowed darci's season one and i'm watching that now. (kinda weird watching the first one, then watching the episode last night)


i'm now living through peyton and lucas.


i just finished my paper for my class tomorrow and i'm WAY tired. but i'm gonna watch just oen episode. brooke just found out peyton and lucas have been seeing each other behind her back!

sickly

i stayed home sick from work today. i was kind of excited to get stuff done. my weekends always go by too fast. but of course i just ended up watching one tree hill all day (1st season) and got NOTHING done. finally at 630 i decide to do my taxes. i'm getting 72 dollars back. yahoooo. at least i dont owe anything right?? if i had earned 53 more dollars, i would have had to pay money. lol. i only worked for like a month or 2 last year. and i am making so much more money now (not saving it though... that starts with this paycheck, i SWEAR) i really want a different job. but i dont have time to do that when i'm working all the time. i was gonna do my resume/cover letter today. should i do that or write my paper for my creative teaching class??? it's actually hard to write a 1 page paper. double spaced. she asked us to dig deep and get emotional too. how do i do that writing so little? writing is really my least favorite thing, cuz im such a perfectionist about it.

i run to the mall real quick to buy a bra, and i'm stuck there in lock-down for 5 hours. stupid druggies, can't you do your drug deals somewhere else. or NOT go around shooting people? i usually go to bed at like 9:30 and its almost 1:30. goooooooodnight.

FINALLY, i got paid. after working there for over a month, i got 2 paychecks in 1 day and got about $900. after having zero dollars for so long, i am ready to spend irresponsibly. as we speak i am shopping at delias.com. i have not forgotten about my list. with this paycehck, i am going to get : delias clothes, TWLOHA shirt, bare minerals, insurance, and pay people back.

Otitis media

the other night i went to the ER at like 12:30 am. i have Otitis media!! DUN DUN DUNNNNNN. jk that's just the scientific name for a middle ear infection. its one of those things that i feel dumb telling people because i feel like they are just like "oh, just an ear infection.." but it huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurt. plus my neck hurts like crazy from sleeping all weird trying not to lay on my ear, plus my stomach feels sick from the antibiotics, plus i have a migraine from the vicodin. but mostly, i'll complain about the ear pain. its alot better now. i think my ear drum ruptured (based on my online studying, and the fact that my ear is "draining" gross) but it says that's fine and it should heal fast. its just kind gross. it does make it feel better tho cuz there's less pressure. sooo this is my 3rd day missing work in my 3rd week of work. AND its the worst possible time. i think i'm gonna throw on some clothes and show up in an hour or two. i think they need help rearranging some rooms and ish like that.... AND i have 3 doctors appts coming up too! ahhhhhhh

home sick

i havent even been working for 2 weeks and i already took my first sick day. dang sucky immune system + working with kids.


my job is getting better. my first few days were sooo hard, and there are still times when it is very very very hard. but it pretty much gets better every day. i still dont know what classroom (age) i'm gonna work with. they tell me every day "you did really good in the school-age room today!" "you worked really well in room B today" "actually... you work well in every room... can you make copies of yourself?" so really, it's my decision what room i want to work in, but i can't decide! i change my mind like every day, or twice a day. at this moment... i'm thinking i like room B (3 yrd olds) but only if i get a good lead teacher to work with.... i'd love to work with toiya... that class is horrible right now. it needs ALOT of work.

nephews are cute

here are some cute pictures of my nephews that everyone should see, but i know some people just dont care, so instead of posting them ALLLLL over myspace i'll put them all in here, for some of you who may care a little bit. most are from christmas.

{i just looked at this and rezlied the right side of all the pictures are cut off but i dont really care enough to go back and fix all of them. it only really matters in one where it cuts torrin out... but its 2am and i'm tired.}

my first paycheck

when i get my first paycheck i am going to buy the following things:

1. CAR INSURANCE
2. bare minerals
3. TWLOHA shirt { www.twloha.com }
4. bachelorette present for jackie (/birthday present)... shes only been married for like 4 months now....
5. new jeans
6. red melee shirt
7. send packages to my elders (or just 2 of them)
8. a season of buffy, 2nd maybe
9. clothes. i just need more clothes
10. oh yeah i guess i should pay people back... mom, dad, & darci. this needs to be at the top of my list. after car insurance.
11. some more presents for people. oh gosh. i just want money. i miss it





ok YES, i realize that my paycheck will not go this far... it probably will barely cover the 1st two. i'm just looking forward to having money again. i know i wont actually start saving untill i get a little spending out of my system



i applied at another kindercare this week. one closer to my house. i think i'm going to get the job, but i dont want to get my hopes up because i've done that like 3 times already and something fell threw. i really wanted a higher paying job this time, but going in there i missed it. i miss the kids.

i start my new calling as sunbeams teacher tomorrow (i was in nursery for a year and a half) i'm excited!! and very nervous about how the kids will act. we have a few that i think it will be hard for. good thing i have another teacher with me. she seems really good.
